Congratulations to Seminarian Angel Marrero

On May 12, 2012, Seminarian Angel will be ordained a Deacon at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 10:00am. All are invited to attend. Angel will celebrate his first mass as Deacon on Sunday, May 13th here at St. Michael the Archangel Church at 11:30pm.
A reception will follow in the gym.

Congratulations to Archbishop William E. Lori
Bishop Lori will be installed as the 16th Archbishop of Baltimore on
May 16, 2012.

to discover the spiritual and physical needs of parishioners, to reach our to the unchurched, especially Catholics, and invite them to be part of
St. Michael the Archangel Parish,
and to discover the interests and talents
of the people of our Parish.

print it out and mail it back to the Parish Office at 10 Willow Avenue,
Baltimore, MD  21206 or drop it off in the Parish Office.

Eucharistic Adoration:
First Saturdays: Following the 8:30 am Mass
on the first Saturday of the Month.
The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the
Parish Center Oratory and is open during
regular Parish Center hours for private prayer.


Inclement Weather Information

St. Michael's Church follows the direction of Baltimore County Public Schools (not the Hereford Zone). If school opening is delayed: 7 am weekday Masses are cancelled, but 9 am Masses will go on as scheduled. The Parish Office will be open and evening activities will go on as scheduled. If schools are closed: all evening activities at St. Michael’s are cancelled and please call the Parish Office at 410-665-1054 before visiting. If schools dismiss early: All evening activities are cancelled and the Parish Office will be closed. On Weekends: Masses will go on as scheduled, unless the Archbishop of Baltimore grants general dispensation from the Sunday obligation. Exercise prudent judgment and do not take unnecessary risks by driving on icy roadways.

 

God’s Little People Pre-School Program follows Baltimore County Public School System closing and opening times for weather related conditions. If Baltimore County School System is closed for the day due to a holiday or professional day, then we will follow: St. Michael the Archangel, Overlea School. Watch WBAL Channel 11 for the early reports and St. Michael School announcements. If there is a 1 hour delay in the morning, our sessions open at regular time. If there is a 2 hour delay, our Morning session is CANCELLED. The Afternoon session will still start at the regular time at 12:30 pm. If Baltimore County Schools or St. Michael’s School announce early closing (any amount of time) for weather related conditions, the Afternoon session is CANCELLED.
